The Komodo Insights Component is a supplemental component to customer relationship management (CRM) tools. CRMs in general help life science customers engage with their HCP and HCO targets by enabling them to track and support existing engagements as well as plan future engagements with prioritized targets. The Komodo Insights Component provides additional value in CRMs by surfacing key metrics from Komodo Health's Aperture and Iris products into a healthcare provider's profile. With direct access to Komodo Health's data and insights as they review a given HCP, commercial and medical teams can enhance their existing workflows and ultimately improve target engagements.

Installation

The Komodo Insights Component is a Lightning Web Component that can be installed in any active Salesforce environment that runs the Salesforce Lightning Experience. To install the Komodo Insights Component in your Salesforce environment(s), go to the Komodo Install Service page.

Note

Please work with your Komodo Health Customer Success Manager (CSM) to obtain the Customer Key and Customer Secret needed to configure, set up, and use the component.

Once the Komodo Insights Component is installed, follow the steps in the component setup to configure the component as well as manage the necessary permissions for your users. Your users will then need to complete a one-time user authentication to ensure they are able to use both the Komodo Insights Component and Komodo Health's products to view and analyze the insights provided.

Documentation

This documentation is designed to help system administrators set up and configure the Komodo Insights Component to meet specific business processes and requirements. It assumes that system administrators are proficient with standard Salesforce administration. It does not cover Salesforce, Health Cloud, or third-party application out-of-the-box features that can be found using Salesforce's web resources or third-party documentation.

Documentation updates

This documentation is maintained and updated over time to ensure accurate and timely information. For this reason, Komodo Health recommends leveraging the online version, rather than static, printed versions, of the documentation. For these same reasons, versions of the documentation are not published. The online version of the documentation represents the latest publicly available version of the Komodo Insights Component.
