Collaborator Portal

The Collaborator Portal combines the back-end functionality of Salesforce with a user-friendly AWS front-end experience. This combination provides a streamlined user interface that enables individuals to easily collaborate on documentation, including reviewing and completing assigned document-related tasks.

Home Page experience

The Collaborator Portal uses the same Home Page component as internal Salesforce users, but publications-oriented areas are hidden when the page runs in the Experience Cloud context. External collaborators do not see the Publications tab on the Home page, and the Publications Tracker section on the Dashboard tab is not shown (the activity metrics at the top of the Dashboard tab remain available).

Internal Scientific Publications Cloud users working in the Lightning app are unaffected. For a full description of tabs and sections, reference the Home page topic.
