Description

Plan team members can automatically be provisioned access to a document when the document is related to a publication plan. (For more information on how to configure this, reference the Plan team members documentation.) However, there is an issue with some configurations where this process creates duplicate document collaborators for some team members that are added to the document.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Log into a Salesforce environment as an admin user.

  2. As the admin user:

    1. Create a user with the Pubs Standard User profile.

    2. Navigate to an existing publication plan or create a new one.

    3. Ensure that you are a plan team member on the publication plan with the Owner role or add yourself as the owner.

    4. (Optional) Log out of the environment.

  3. Open an incognito browser window and log into the same Salesforce environment as the standard user.

  4. As the standard user:

    1. Create a document.

    2. Relate the document to the publication plan in step 2b.

Notice that while both the admin user and the standard user have been added as document collaborators to the document, the admin user was added as a document collaborator twice.
