Browser Pending Updates Causing Issue

Description

If a browser has an available update, the Lightning Component calls to Apex or Salesforce APIs fail to return proper data. Common errors seen include:

  • "Record Modified by Another User"

  • "ERROR: Invalid or missing tabId 'null'"

  • Office 365 documents not fully loading

Steps to Reproduce

When the browser offers an update, ignore the update, do not install it, or restart the browser. Observe the error(s) that appear.
