[Salesforce Spring ’23 release] Confusing display of dynamic activity composer for logging contact attempts
Created | January 10, 2023 | Updated | February 2, 2023 | Status | Done |
Description | As part of Salesforce’s Spring ’23 release, the default display for the activity composer in Case records, which is used to track contact attempts, has been changed from a tabbed view to a dynamic view. (For more information, reference Salesforce's release notes.) With this update, the “Add” text on the button to log a contact attempt has been changed to a phone icon while the label of the activity composer shows “Log a Call” instead of the custom “Contact Attempt.” These changes can be confusing to users who want to log a new contact attempt, which may or may not be a phone call. | ||||
Affects Versions | KCC V1.1.0 | Fix Version |
| Related Work Item | PJN-1960 |
Steps to Reproduce | Prerequisite: Be in a Komodo Care Connect environment with Spring ’23 features enabled.

Workaround | Manually revert the dynamic activity composer back to the original tabbed activity composer by following Salesforce’s instructions. NoteThe label in the dialog box that shows “Log a Call” instead of a custom action label is a Salesforce known issue. |
